Miscarriage And a Year In Jail

TPM:  Virginia state Sen. Mark Obenshain (R) won the Republican nomination to replace Ken Cuccinelli as the state’s attorney general this weekend. Obenshain once introduced a bill that would charge women with a Class 1 misdemeanor if they failed to report a miscarriage to police.

Yes you read that right, any woman who did immediately submit her miscarriage to a police investigation would have spent a year in jail.  This is the American Taliban.  This is your Republican party.

Canyon City, Colorado (CNN) -- Life begins at conception, according to the Catholic Church, but in a wrongful death suit in Colorado, a Catholic healthcare company has argued just the opposite.

Attention religious conservatives and evangelicals:  you're being fleeced.  You're being played.  If the fact your "leaders" have multiple mansions and are flying around in private jets didn't clue you in, maybe this will.  

Hezbollah and Mitt Romney

Raw Story:  Hassan Nasrallah, head of Lebanon’s Shiite Hezbollah organization, on Sunday called for protests across the country over a US-produced film mocking Islam that caused uproar across the Islamic world.

So a radical Christian makes a film that insults Islam and now both Mitt Romney and Hezbollah are trying to score political points over the angry reaction.  Think about that....

WASHINGTON: -- GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan accused the Obama administration Friday of treating Israel with "indifference bordering on contempt," the latest in a series of jabs on the president's foreign policy after attacks on U.S. embassies abroad this week.

Whatever. Republicans only pander to Jews on Israel to keep on board a right-wing Christian base that wants to keep "the holy land" out of the hands of the Muslims until Jesus comes down and sends them both to hell. Any Jew that supports Republicans is supporting a political party who's base believes they deserve hell.   Jews vote GOP at their peril.
