Qualified To Teach Sunday School

Sen Jim Demint (R-SC): Gays and unmarried women should not teach in public schools.

We can't think of any rational reason why that should be case. We can however think of some great reasons Republicans should not be allowed to teach kids at all: they're anti-science, have no respect for the Socratic method, and for the most part would like to see our science text books replaced with the bible. To be fair however, they may indeed be qualified to teach Sunday school.

  1. This is a problem, but I don’t believe for one second that the tyrants in charge believe any of the Deity crap. They infiltrated the Christian Right because they are easy to manipulate, all one has to say is; “I believe in the great cloud god” and they will be falling over themselves to vote for them…as we seen with Bush. The real issues that plague this country do not matter…no gays in the military become their chant.
And I’m not surprised that this is a issue with them since our military has become populated buy the sons and daughters of the religious right who are glad to kill the sons and daughters of another religion…If they only knew!

Fact is, if the Demo’s run an incumbent against one of these nut-jobs they will probably lose their seat. But if they run a new candidate they would prob win…people are sick and tired of our do nothing congress who fall over themselves to bail out the richest crooks in the world, and are ready to accept anyone who is not from the good-ol-boy political club.
