Above chart courtesy of Daily Kos.In 1979 we had a massive middle class, production capacity that was the apple of the world's eye, and a national debt that was under a trillion dollars. Then came Reaganomics. Since then it's been standard Republican public policy. And since then the middle class has been ravaged, the top 1% has more than tripled their wealth, our production capacity has collapsed, and the national debt has grown to 14 trillion dollars. And now we're beyond screwed.
GOP public policy is a God-damn-national-disaster. Don't vote for a national disaster.
