24/7 Wallstreet: The States with the Strongest and Weakens Unions

This is more proof progressive public policy is historically superior. Not only did progressives create the worker rights and protections that created the great American middle class, but to this day the states where workers are allowed to organize do better economically than those that don't.

Check this list of the top 20 welfare states. The top 10 are all red state Republican. And none of them show up on this list of states with the strongest unions. And of course, pretty much every one of them shows up on the list of weakest unions. Seems workers in states with the strongest unions have money to spend. So business do better. Simple really.     Evidence is for elitists. Real Americans go by feeling. Real Americans feel like unions are bad. Even the ones that are in unions. It's just like that favorite teabagger golden oldie, keep the government out of my medicare!
