Born Poor, Stay Poor

Mitt Romney on education:
I think this is a land of opportunity for every single person, every single citizen of this great nation. And I want to make sure that we keep America a place of opportunity, where everyone has a fair shot. They get as much education as they can afford and with their time they’re able to get and if they have a willingness to work hard and the right values, they ought to be able to provide for their family and have a shot of realizing their dreams.
In Mitt Rmoney world only people with money are entitled to an education.  Which makes him fit to be president of one of those shyster for profit colleges that are bankrolling his campaign, but not president of the United States.

Education is one of the pillars of an upward mobility society.  While Republicans claim this is the land of opportunity, their public policy works against it.  They prefer a social order that has a few rich, white, men on top and everybody else working for them.  The fact of the matter is conservatives have been working on behalf of the plantation owner since before this country was founded.
