The economy added 80,000 jobs in June. It would have been better if Republicans in red states had not been axing public sector jobs as fast as they can.
In the last months of the Bush administration, the last months of what had been 8 years of Republican party public policy, 8 years of the exact same public policy Rmoney will bring back, we were losing between 700,000 and 800,000 jobs per month. So here is what we say about the 80,000 jobs gained in June: it's not great, but it would have been much better if the GOP had not been deliberately sabotaging the job market, and it's nearly one million jobs better than we were doing since the last time Romney's Republican party public policy was in effect.
