Yoho made the suggestion when he was
running for Congress. The comments were flagged by Right Wing Watch
on Tuesday.
"I’ve had some radical ideas
about voting and it’s probably not a good time to tell them, but you used to have to be a property owner to vote," Yoho said at a speaking event at the
Berean Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida. The crowd responded with applause.
Well, at least he didn’t say only slave owners
should be able to vote. But either way,
this is just another giant pile of crap on top of the mountain of evidence that
makes it disturbingly clear the Republican party simply can't stand democracy. Therefore, it’s beyond dangerous to let them
serve in one.
