We invite you to use our messaging in your advertising, at the water cooler, in the press release, at the lectern, or just to shut up the father-in-law at Thanksgiving (especially to shut up the father-in-law at Thanksgiving). Enough Guilt To Around

"I think at this point, there's nothing that can pass the House of Representatives. . . I think a good chunk of the Republican caucus is either stupid, crazy, ignorant, or craven cowards who are desperately afraid of the Tea Party people, and rightfully so." - Bruce Bartless, former Reagan adviser 7/27/11

He's right of course. They will finish us off. But it was he and his boss that
set us on the path to destruction. He should worry about his own soul.

Believing in Jesus

Bill O'Reilly criticized the media on Monday for describing Anders Behring-Breivik, the man who has admitted to committing the mass killings in Norway, as a Christian, saying that such a thing was "impossible."

"No one believing in Jesus commits mass murder," he said. "The man might have called himself a Christian on the net, but he is certainly not of that faith...we can find no evidence, none, that this killer practiced Christianity in any way."

Putting aside the crusades, the inquisition and any number of abortion clinic bombers/shooters, it could also be said that no one believing in Jesus goes on national TV every day to lie and shill for multi-national corporations whos only motive is profit.

Burning It Down

Raw Story: Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Monday that he is giving Congress ten days to pass a constitutional amendment that would make raising taxes nearly impossible. And if he doesn’t get what he wants, he will do everything in his power to force the U.S. to default on its debts.

This threat lies somewhere between treason and terrorism.

Carrying Dirty Water

TPM: After being fast tracked by a House panel and passing the House last week, a bill that would strip fundamental powers of the EPA to regulate water toxins crept closer to a Senate vote.

Judging by their behavior one would think Republicans only
only drink $700 bottles of wine. But cancer doesn't discriminate when it come to political party. The difference is, Democrats don't give it to you.

By Any Other Name

Allen West (R-FL): “This is something, once again, the Democrat Party, they put my Social Security number and my wife’s employment identification number in a mail piece,” he said. “This has just been an ongoing thing. I have been called Uncle Tom, a sell-out Oreo."

Somebody should ask him what do you call a black man who is a member of a political party that deliberately built its base with racists, is more often partial to the confederate flag than the American flag, and to this day has its geographical and philosophical power base in the confederate south.

Opportunities

Raw Story: Congressman Allen West (R-FL) sent a nasty letter to Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Tuesday afternoon, calling her "the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the U.S. House."

You can read their response via the link above. It's predictably soft. We suggest this:

"Congressman West is just deflecting attention from the fact he's trying to rob hard working Floridians who have paid into Medicare and social security their entire lives in order to pay for more handouts for the rich and the corporations. Mr. West should be looking out for the Americans he's supposed to be representing instead of fighting for more tax breaks for multi-national corporations that are exporting our jobs and off-shoring their profits. If one didn't know better one would think Congressman West is representing factory owners in China and multi-national CEO's instead of the people in district FL-22"

Collaborators

Raw Story: Conservative activist and Big Government blogger Pam Geller compared Jewish supporters of President Barack Obama to Nazi-era Jewish Council leaders, which helped implement Nazi orders and regulations, on her website Friday.

We love it when conservatives say stuff like this. Especially Jewish ones. The Republican party has been a haven for racists and bigots for the last 50 years. If she wants to find a comparison such as the one she tries to ascribe to Jewish supporters of President Obama, she needs look no further than her association with the Republican Party.
