Headline: GOP Votes To Double Student Load Rates
Education is an investment in the country's future and Republicans just proved yet again they don't give a rip. Instead they voted to further enrich their robber baron bank cronies at the expense of struggling students and the future competitiveness of the country.
Education is also a big part of becoming upwardly mobile, a big part of what made America the land of opportunity. This is yet another American Ideal they do not share. They really are terrible Americans.
From their hatred of science on down Republicans really are hostile to education. It's a worthwhile discussion as to why.
