Speaking to a crowd of Connecticut Republicans about the Afghanistan war, GOP Chairman Michael Steele said, "Keep in mind again, federal candidates, this was a war of Obama's choosing. This is not something the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in."
Just because the GOP drove us off a cliff, and while we were plummeting onto the jagged rocks below the Democrats took the wheel, it doesn't mean the Democrats drove us off the cliff. It only means we should never let the GOP drive again.
