TPM: In the first two years after “Obamacare” was signed, Medicare reforms in the law saved seniors a total of $3.4 billion in prescription drug costs by bridging a coverage gap, according to official figures.
This is the major reason why Republicans are against Obamacare. They want our medical care to be as expensive and profitable as possible. Want more proof? The Bush administration prohibited the government from negotiating lower prices from the drug companies for the high volume medicare purchases. The GOP is only out for the for profit healthcare industry and their billionaire CEO's. They don't give a rip about seniors or anybody else.
Actually, if it's a fact, it's pretty much a sure bet you won't hear it on Fox New no matter what it's about.
