Faith Based Corruption

Bachmann and Associates, Inc., a Christian mental health clinic founded and run by Rep. Michele Bachmann’s husband, has been taking money from Minnesota's coffers since it was founded in 2003. Since 2007, the clinic, run by Marcus Bachmann, has taken in nearly $30,000 from the state.

Last week we learned the Florida GOP was transferring public money to their anti-gay gay supporters and this week it's the government-out-of-health-care Republicans in Minnesota taking public money for their own family's faith based healing business. While Republicans talk about being fiscally conservative, the reality is they spend us into oblivion. And while this $30,000 pales in comparison to the trillions going to crony war profiteers and Wall Street crooks, it again shows how the GOP is happy to use the taxpayers money as a trough for their horses to water.
