Taxpayers on average forked over just 9.2% of their personal income last year to federal, state and local governments, according to a Bureau of Economic Analysis report. That's the lowest since 1950.
So what are the teabaggers so upset about? It's not taxes. It can't be the national debt or the deficit . They loved Reagan, G.H. Bush and G.W. Bush and they all gave us record bad results on those fronts. No, it's pretty clear low taxes aren't the 50's era realities the teabaggers yearn for. They're upset because the Democrats are in charge and we have a black president.
