Louisiana Republican Governor Bobby Jindal says he told President Barack Obama that “the federal government needs to do more to hold BP accountable"
Yeah, he needs to speak to his own party about that. Not only is his team currently doing all they can to prevent BP from being held accountable but for three decades Republicans have made it their mission to destroy any regulatory agency capable of holding industry to account, to defeat all regulatory and environmental laws, ignore clean energy, and drill baby drill. It's Jindal's political philosophy that's responsible for this mess so unless he's ready to switch parties he really should just shut up.
Vote out the incumbent! Something I have been saying for the last 10 years.
ReplyDeleteThe Republicans are the party of the corporate rich leading their dumb poor loyalists, and the Democrat’s are spineless, defeating the hopes of the rest of us by pretending to be fighting for our rights…fire them all!
And if their replacements make no changes, vote them out as well. Don’t let them have the chance to acquire any wealth or power.

ReplyDeleteAgree that maybe 30% of Democrats are spineless/corrupt/act the Republicans. But 100% of Republicans are that way. And since there are only two teams, it's pretty clear our only hope of survival is to elect more and better democrats. If the GOP gets back in, well, they're pretty much all psychopaths so if that happens we're toast for sure.
