Better Questions For Tony

In a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee's subcommittee on oversight and investigations today BP CEO Tony Hayward came under questioning from members of congress.

How bad are the Republicans on the committee that Tony Hayward comes off as more reasonable than his GOP questioners? In the interest of discovering how something like this was allowed to happen we have some better questions for Mr. Hayward: Are you aware of a 2001 meeting between the BP CEO John Browne and Vice President Dick Cheney? Do you have any information that Cheney's secret energy meetings resulted in the Bush administration deciding the $500,000 switches that could have prevented this disaster were too much a burden on the industry? And so on...
