Election? What Election?

Tea party forces are seizing on a new strategy in their attempt to remove Senate incumbents from elected office: the recall.

So we already know the Republican party doesn't like the the fourth amendment, the fifth amendment, the eighth amendment, the 13th amendment, the 14th amendment, the 16th amendment, the 17th amendment, Article VI, the Civil Rights Act, the establishment clause, posse comitatus or due process. And if anybody's forgotten the impeachment of President Clinton, this serves as a damn good reminder that they don't much like elections either. If the American people value their democracy they would do well to ensure Republicans win as few of them as possible.
