Top Conservative: I'm all in favor of your green technologies just don't ask for the taxpayers to pay for it. "...your" green technologies. See that? They want no part of it. Anyway, since us taxpayers currently pay with our oceans, our air, and our health, not to mention with hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks for the fossil fuel industry, basically this is what the Republicans are saying: our buddies, backers and business partners are into oil, coal and natural gas so we're going to transfer as much of the public good as we can to those industries while actively fighting against a clean energy future. And if we give your kid asthma or cancer, you had best be able to pay for treatment because we also hate national health care.
