Yet another right-winger goes to bat for the serial child rapist David Koresh. This one comes with an open drive to recruit a shadow army and a threat to go to war against the United States. That this crowd didn't condemn warrantless searches or call for the president to be under the command of the local redneck sheriff while there was a white Republican in the oval office is telling. What they're doing about it now should be a warning on how dangerous the new Republican party has become.

Love the way they reworked the American flag patch on their uniforms. I wonder what they plan to call their new country.
ReplyDeleteAll I will say about this subject is this; David Koresh would leave his compound all the time, unarmed. At any time prior to the raid the authorities could have easily apprehended him on one of his visits to town for supplies, WITHOUT A FIGHT!
ReplyDeleteIt was the cowboy tactics of the ATF that got them into that mess, tactics that we have seen so many times with this ridicules war on drugs…kicking down peoples doors and storming the place, just like they did in Detroit a few weeks ago where they went to the wrong house and killed a 9-year-old-child. The only difference with the Detroit forced entry and the Koresh invasion is they kicked in the wrong door. Had they conducted a proper investigation and a little research they would have known that these people were well-armed, “end of times” fanatics, on a paranoid mission expecting such a raid.
The ATF didn’t care and went looking for a fight and then had their heads handed back to them on a platter.
As for the child molestations accusations, I have read different opinions, some say he did and some say none of this happened. What I do know is the molestation story came out after the raid went bad and there were no employees of Child and Family Services on hand at the time of the raid.
If child molestation was the reason for this well armed attack than why do we not see Bradley Fighting Vehicles knocking down the walls of the Catholic Church
Hi VG,
ReplyDeleteI guess the military nature of the eventual raid would be because 51 days prior when they went to serve him with a warrant for illegal weapons the heavily armed Davidians opened fire. Looking back for sure it would have been better to grab him outside of the compound, but the way the law enforcement process goes sometimes is you get the warrant and once you have it, you execute it. If the target is at home at that time, that's where you go. And if the warrant is for them having a lot of guns they're not supposed to have, you bring guns yourself.
And I pretty much thought the child rape accusations were proven. Just reading around the internet now, I don't think this point is much in doubt. If you have some information that is contrary to that I would like to see it as I make this point periodically.

"The 1993 U.S. Department of Justice report sets out allegations of historical child sexual and physical abuse. ATF Special Agent David Aguilera had interviewed former Branch Davidian Jeannine Bunds, who claimed that Koresh had fathered at least fifteen children with various women and young girls at the compound. According to Bunds, some of the girls who had babies fathered by Koresh were as young as 12 years old. She said she had personally delivered seven of these children. Bunds also claims that Koresh would annul all marriages of couples who joined his cult. He then had exclusive sexual access to the women. He would also have regular sexual relations with young girls.[12] In his book, James Tabor states that Koresh acknowledged on a videotape sent out of the compound during the standoff that he had fathered more than 12 children by several "wives", some of whom were as young as 12 or 13 when they became pregnant.[13] DNA testing of the women and children in the video who died in the subsequent fire confirmed that some of the children were his."
Hopper,
ReplyDeleteI will admit that I do not have the latest information on this case and I have never heard about an armed conflict 51 days before…are you sure about this?
Where did you read it?
I am aware about Davids fanatical sex laws and I can’t believe that his followers would obey him on this…but they did! I’m also aware of the accusations of him having sex with underage women and even a 12 year old…but as I said before, this was disputed.
I guess it boils down to who one wishes to believe.
My problem is that LE, DEA, ATF and the others lie every time they make a mistake and even bring up phony charges to cover their asses…instead of telling the truth! For this reason I (we) no longer trust them and their strong arm tactics.

ReplyDeleteYes for sure they do that.
