No Honor For Union Soldiers

From The Texas Republican Party platform: We call for the restoration of the plaques honoring the Confederate widow's Pension Fund contribution that were removed from the Texas Supreme Court building.

The Confederacy went to war against the United States in order to keep slavery. That today's Republican party so consistently glorifies and honors that effort should give people pause. That so many of them seem to advocate doing it again should put them on the terrorist watch list.

  1. It's scary out here knowing there are those on the right who will say absolutely anything in the name of free speech. They want to celebrate treason against the Federal Gov't and fly the Confederate flag and think this is and should be the behavior of all other right thinking rebel leaders. This is the United States of America and where exactly do these rebel states think they'll get funding and revenues from? Who will pay the bills, where will power come from? They have to (hopefully) know that advocating seceding from the Union is illegal and inciteful rhetoric which could send somebody off on a crusade with a very bad ending and they will all pretend they had nothing whatsoever to do with it. They are toe rags with latent racist tendancies.
